Small, cozy restaurant, friendly service, down-to-earth cuisine, huge portions. We therefore recommend taking the "small portion" in each case. The prices are very moderate. We ate delicious and were very satisfied. Many thanks to the kitchen and service team.

We were there for dinner on 08/15/2020. Beautiful old, partly antique furnishings, everything was consistent. Very good service. We had the entrecote and beef schnitzel as small portions which is completely sufficient in size. The meat was ordered medium, I have rarely received meat that has been cooked so perfectly. Very good in taste. Ribbon noodles for the child were also delicious. The food was very good and great value for money. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in this corner.

Were there yesterday, at first we were a little skeptical, the facade and garden furniture were not so nice. The food was awesome, delicious salad dressing, the steaks (400 grams) so juicy, the cream schnitzel, delicious ... The homemade noodles - wonderful. The service is very friendly! Only to be recommended !!!! Full stars

The city crown in Engen is a small but fine restaurant with German cuisine. It is probably known for its very good meat dishes. There were four of us eating and everyone was thrilled. It is a mystery to us how to cook a pork sirloin steak about 6 cm thick. But it was so and really great. The quality of the meat, whether it was pork or turkey was great. The french fries the best we have eaten in a long time, the homemade pasta with cognac sauce and mushrooms. The staff courteous and friendly. The pricing is absolutely good. We ended up here by chance, but will be visited again when we are back in Engen.

Food was Awesome .order the small dinner they are big enough for two people. We were in town 2 nights ate there twice. Owner was really nice made the dinner there even better really sweet lady we so enjoyed meeting
